What we collect
- Parent data: Email address (for account login and sending reports).
- Child data:A first name or nickname and year group only. We do not collect your child's real full name, school name, date of birth, or location.
- Test data: Answers given during diagnostic tests and calculated results.
- Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details.
How we use your data
- To provide the diagnostic test and readiness report.
- To send you your child's results by email.
- To manage your account and subscription (if applicable).
- We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third party for advertising or commercial profiling purposes.
Children's privacy
ReadyFor11 is designed to comply with the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code). Children do not create accounts or log in directly. All data is controlled by the parent. Results are sent to the parent's email only.
Data retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active.
- Deleted accounts: Personal data removed immediately. Anonymised test results may be retained for statistical analysis.
- Payment records: Retained as required by UK tax law (typically 6 years) with personal data removed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") — available via your account dashboard
